Original & Commissioned Work

Fight Fight Fight!
Original

This is a strung together version of a horizontal re-sequencing FMOD Studio event. This was composed with a hard and fast fighting game in mind.

The Hollywood Square ft. LukkySparxx
Commissioned

Commissioned by an up-and-coming pro wrestler, this theme was requested to feature a camera shutter and an awesome hair metal scream.

Pablo's Quest
Commissioned

Commissioned by a new content creator for their YouTube, Twitch, and podcast intro. The requirements were to include 8-bit and 16-bit chiptune.

Character Theme - Charlotte Biose
Original

Composed with a charismatic thief from an RPG or stealth game in mind. It is designed to loop indefinitely. Not heavy metal but it's nice to have variety.

Analog:UE Type-S
Original

Originally started as a commission for a friend starting their wrestling career, requiring a dial-up modem sound, this has morphed into it's own fun little metal/chiptune thing.

Lilith's Cavern
Original

I was playing a lot of dungeon crawlers and got inspiration to make this. It reminds me a lot of Diablo or Torchlight.

Heavy Metal Covers

Somewhere in the hilarious misadventure that is my life, I earned the reputation for making heavy metal covers of existing works. Here's some examples.

Retro Warriors Podcast
Original
Cover

Originally a fan made cover, the Retro Warriors team liked it so much they used it as their official intro from episode 200.

Doctrine and Devotion Podcast
Original
Cover

Commissioned for a podcast, they wanted a doom metal cover of their original music. It originally had a much slower feel going at half speed but we felt that would be too long before long time listeners would recognise the orginal melody, so it was sped up.

William Tell Overture

Why not.

Living Dead Girls
Original
Cover

Commissioned for a unreleased Facebook animated series. They were flexible with what genre of metal they wanted for the cover and we ultimately settled on this metalcore style downtuned riffing.

About Me

My name is Richard. I'm a T-shaped person, meaning my model hasn't been animated properly yet I have a broad range of skills but specialise in dynamic heavy metal music for video games using FMOD Studio. Give your game the headbanging, blood pumping love it deserves - shoot me an email on the contact page and we'll get this mosh pit started!

Main skills: FMOD Studio (scripting, integration, dynamic music), heavy metal, rock, punk, 80s rock ballad, whatever the hell that rock style was in 90's PC Engine shmups

Other skills: Japanese (basic conversation), puns, Reaper, C# (Unity), Python, Ruby, voice over (tutorial and character), creative swearing, insisting you cannot measure butter by cups

Boring gear stuff nerds care about: Haze fan fret 7 string guitar, Fender MIJ Stratocaster, Ibanez S series something or other to go widdly woo on, Bias FX 2, Reaper, copious amounts of black coffee
